   is it true that Britain is the MOST safely guarded country in europe? how compared to the "European union"? and does this officially begin really in Frankfurt Germany? or which other roads come from West to East? and how has this changed?

   It's great that some countries around the world start to set binding targets related to fight against climate change, but it is true that the Australian objective of 5% is somehow laughable... The European Union has gone further in its "Climate and energy package", with a threefold target : 20% CO2 emmission reductions ; 20% of renewables in European energy consumption ; and 20% of energy savings. We could imagine that if Australia accept to raise its environmental targets, it could be a partner of the European Union in international negotiations on climate change this year, notably at the meeting in Copenhagen. What do you think ?
